What we do
Individual buyers and dealers, same desk
One car bought at auction and a monthly programme of forty units go through the same process here. What changes is the volume, not the paperwork, the terminals or the rules at the far end.
Our carriers
We sail most of our cargo with Grimaldi and Sallaum
Those two carry the bulk of what we move to West Africa, so their sailings are usually the ones we are quoting you against and the ones your unit will be booked on.
We also book ACL and MSC, and for containers we work with CMA, Maersk, COSCO and Hapag Lloyd, so the sailing is chosen around your cargo and your dates rather than around one carrier's schedule.

Sallaum is one of the two lines we book most, and between them there is a sailing for your unit most weeks rather than once a month.

Grande Angola, vehicles and containers on one hull
Grimaldi runs the deep-sea service most of our vehicles sail on, and their ships take roll-on roll-off and containers together, which is why one booking can carry a runner and a stuffed container to the same port.

Exporting a vehicle from the United States
We move vehicles, equipment and cargo out of US East Coast ports, and we collect from dealerships and from the major auctions when that is where the unit is.
Our units discharge at Lagos and Tema, and at Cotonou, Lome, Abidjan and Dakar. If your consignee is at one of those, we are already sailing there every month rather than quoting you a route we would have to arrange.
If you have not exported before, the questions are usually the same ones: what US Customs needs from you and when, whether a damaged or non-running vehicle can go at all, and whether your unit should roll on or travel in a container. The client portal carries sailing schedules, online booking, your shipping documents and invoices, and tracking. Most of what customers call us to ask is already in there.
